Employee Name
“After being educated on the Bully breeds and what they are put through, I had to jump in and do my part in helping to rescue these lovely, misunderstood creatures. They are so loving. I am rewarded every time a new home is found for one of our rescues, every time I get a smile or a kiss from one. I will do what I can to help rescue, rehabilitate and find forever homes for our babies. I will also continue to educate people on the facts and myths of these wonderful dogs. We must fight for these dogs, as they can't fight for themselves.”

Daisy
At 10 years old, Daisy is always ready to play. She is a tri-colored Beagle with a nose that doesn’t miss a thing. She can smell a crumb from across the house. She is full of personality and endless expressions. Daisy came from an “oops” litter my brother-in-law had. The day after she was born I held her in my hand and knew she was the one. Stubborn as a donkey, smart as a whip and about as dramatic as any dog could get, she is my “Little Girl”, my “Little Lemon”. With an array of health problems including a collapsed trachea, a bad lower disc on her spine, Cushing’s disease and separation anxiety, she still runs like a little tank. Nothing gets this little girl down. Her favorite place to be is on the couch, snuggling with me under a blanket. As my first dog she will always hold one of the most special places in my heart. She is a definite mama’s girl.

Gabby
Gabby is a 5 year old black lab/mix. She is my first rescue dog and definitely not my last. She is one of the most affectionate and loving dogs I have ever come across. She was in terrible shape and severely underweight when we adopted her. She instantly took to Daisy, my husband Matthew and me. Every day she showers us with kisses and love. She is motivated by affection and if you scratch her belly she will be your best friend forever.
Gabby thrives on attention from people and recently passed her test to be a Certified Therapy Dog. On a weekly basis she dons her vest and we take trips to Shriners Children’s Hospital, Assisted living facilities, nursing homes and anywhere else that people might benefit from visiting, petting and loving on this sweet girl. She loves all the attention and when she gets home she always gets a special treat and a nice long belly rub.
Her favorite place to be is anywhere where someone is petting her. Gabby has shown me what it is like to give a forever home to a needy dog and opened my eyes to how appreciative a rescued dog really is. Thanks to her I will never own a dog that is not from a shelter/rescue. They need it the most and show you their appreciation every day!
