NOTE: PSBR only adopts dogs out in the state of Florida. We do NOT do out of state adoptions.
Every dog listed is Up-to-Date on age appropriate vaccines/rabies, Spayed/Neutered and current on heartworm/flea prevention & Microchipped!
Each dog has been with us for at least 4 weeks for behavior/medical evaluations.

Our beautiful Fiona may be Deaf, but she doesn't know it :)
Fiona just turned 2 years old October 2010. She has been with PSBR fo over a year, and is hoping her very own family finds her soon!
She's a loving gal, who wants to simply please her person.
Fiona does well with most dogs, but NO cats for this gal.
She loves to visit the beach and even swims UNDER WATER! Don't you need a beach buddy?

"Mama" Mia is a beautiful 6 year old love of a dog. She was dumped at a local shelter along with her 3 pups in Feb 2011. She had been used as a breeding machine and was severely heartworm positive. WE took Mia in, got her treated for her heartworms and now she's ready to find her forever family. Mia does great with other animals as long as she's introduced properly. We have had her with many dogs and a few cats, with no issues. She's crate & house trained, and is learning basic commands. It's apparebnt from the condition we got her in, that she'd never lived in a home setting before. Her ears are cropped, an obvious home/scissor job as one is pointed and the other squared. Don't let this deter you from such a wonderful lady!
Mia is a fantastic older gal who just wants to please her humans. She's always going belly-up and loves her belly rubs. Please consider adopting an older dog, and even more so consider Mama Mia :)
DUTCH
Dutch is an American Pit Bull Terrier/ Dogue de Bordeaux Mix. He has been boarding with us off and on for the last 2.5 yrs, his longest stay with us will be a year as of August 2011.
Dutch is 3.5 years old and about 75#. He is low/medium energy, loves his walks and even likes short bike rides. He is house & crate trained and gets along with all of our dogs. He is neutered and current on all vaccines.
Unfortunately Dutch is now up for adoption. His former owner is devastated, but knows it's the right thing for this big guy.
In 2009 we found Dutch's brother, Moose, a fantastic home with a previous adopter.
Great temperament and all around amazing dog. Dutch deserves a forever family. Please share for him.
