Oh Fiona!! What an awesome Dog!
Fiona is an all around good girl. She may be deaf, but don't tell her that! Fiona is NOT special needs but sure is special :)
She gets along with ALL other dogs and just loves life. She needs the typical amount of exercise and after...she'll be laying at your feet or frog-legged somewhere.
Fiona is a swimmer! She actually swims w/ her head under water, and simply cracks us up!
She is House/Crate trained and knows some hand signals. She responds well to visual clues and vibrations. She has no fear of anything.
If you want a phenomenal gal, look no further!
Robin is FINALLY available for adoption and would LOVE a home of her very own! This 3 yr old lady is a Staffordshie Bull Terrier Mix and came to us from my vet's office. She was horribly emaciated and had just had pups. Literally, as she was still bleeding. We could not find her babies :(
Robin had leg surgery at some point and the surgeon left a pin sticking out of her knee...she couldn't even straighten her leg!!!! We've had that pin removed and now Robin gets to frolic around like a normal dog! This gal is beautiful inside and out. We really want to see her in her Forever Home this season! xoxoxox
"My friends call me Worm....Wiggle Worm to be exact! I can't help it, I just get so happy to be around my people that I wag soooo hard my back end tends to lift off the ground! My rescuers found me at the shelter where my time was up. I am so glad they came to get me! I am fun and outgoing and do well in any living situation. I like having my doggy friends too! Someone cut off half of my tail and I'm not sure why, but I think of it as my 'propeller' anyhow.
Please tell my new family to come get me, it's nice here but I want a family of my own!"

FROM BAIT-DOG TO POSTER DOG AGAINST VIOLENCE!
Carly is a very sweet girl. She'll need a family with a lot of patience as she is still learning house manners, however she is as smart as a whip and picks up on things very quickly. She is crate trained and house broken, knows sit, how to target and the 'watch me' command, but she's learning more everyday!
This little missy is the typical Pit Bull, high energy, willing to please but overall more than happy to just snuggle all night in creature comfort. Boy can she give kisses!
She is great with other dogs and pesters her foster brother to no end with her constant, amusing antics. She is fine with cats in the house, however she does have very high prey drive, so no small animals (such as rats, guinea pigs, and rabbits) in the house would be prefered.
All this girl needs is a comfortable home, her own family to love, and if she had it her way, lots of treats and yummies!
In the time she has been with our family she has wiggled her way into our hearts and touched us with her tender spirit. She has been failed by her previous home, left and unwanted, yet still views the world in an optimistic light. Will you be lucky enough to give this girl her permanent home, with all the love and care she deserves?
TIMMY (aka “Tiny Tim”) is a 1 year old (DOB ~12/2008), neutered male Hound/Pit Bull mix. This ultra-sweet, eager-to-please boy has an exuberant personality that is definitely more hound than anything else. He and his sister were found terribly emaciated, completely bald from horrible skin infections and mange. Besides putting on 40 lbs (!) since December, Timmy has learned to walk PERFECTLY on leash, ride well in the car, and be gentle with food. He is also dog and cat friendly (although he would do best in a home with a dog savvy cat) and has FANTASTIC recall. He is also very people friendly, but would do best in a home without children under 5 years old (he can be a little pushy- but he’s working on it). Daily WORKING exercise is mandatory for this guy (want a running partner, Timmy’s your guy!). Timmy has a couple of no-big-deal special needs; sun screen if he is going to be outside for any length of time (because of his cute white face). Timmy does not need an adopter with a lot of dog experience, just someone who does not feel sorry about his past and can be firm and patient with him. He is the best dog you will ever have in the making!

Nothing they have is contagious and ALL medical expenses are paid for by Pit Stop Bully's Rescue.

This option does not lock you into adopting, but gives our kids a chance to relax in a 'home' setting while bonding with their potential new owner.
We will help you get your new dog settled into their environment and are on call 24/7 for any and all questions/concerns you may have.
Our Vet Offices are located in Tampa & Plant City so if you are in these areas it would be best, but we won't rule out Pinellas or Pasco.
