“I’ve been a dog lover my entire life. I knew nothing about Pit Bulls or Bully breeds though and may never have, had it not been for my daughter. She introduced me to Ichabod, my great big, beautiful, blue rescued grandson and I fell head over heels in love! He immediately erased any negative images, thoughts, or views I may have subconsciously held about these dogs. I knew I had to get involved and do everything I possibly could, to help change the perception that so many have about Bullies. They are amazing dogs, wanting nothing more than a family to love and protect. They deserve a family who will do the same for them. My goal, my promise, is to help make that happen!”

"Keeping it in the family...besides her being great with money and accounting, this is why I wanted my mom to be involved with PSBR. We are a close knit family and mom holds it all together. She brings a heart full of compassion, and a desire to see change that is so strong. All the rescues know when they get to 'grandma's' house for a visit. She showers them immediatetly with love, treats and warmth. Upon their return, they just about leap out of the car before we are stopped to go see her. Mom, thank you for teaching me about right & wrong. Thank you for having a heart so big...all it could do is overflow into mine and be the cause of what I do today.
